Description
Ginger essential oil is steam distilled from the dried root of the ginger plant, this oil is straw yellow in color, exhibiting a strong middle note. Its invigorating, warm, earthy and spicy scent has lemony notes, and when diffused helps to stimulate mental acuity and alertness and stimulate the appetite. Ginger essential oil is also known to ease a nervous stomach, motion sickness or morning sickness in pregnant women. Its warming effect has many beneficial mechanisms when used topically. Dilute to 1% in carrier oil or add a couple of drops to a warm bath to stimulate circulation and to ease joint pain and inflammation and lift the mood.

Directions
- Diffuse 2-3 drops of Ginger essential oil into per 100ml of water to revitalize and rejuvenate the respiratory system
- Reduce the feeling of morning sickness and motion sickness when diffused or used in an inhaler
- Add 3-6 drops of Ginger essential oil to a teaspoon of carrier oil for a warming massage to relieve aches and pains, stimulate circulation and the immune system
