Description

Steam distilled from the flowers of the chamomile plant, the German variety of this oil is deep blue in color due to a high azulene content. Widely lauded for its skin healing properties, it exhibits a strong, warm middle note with a sweet and herbaceous scent. German chamomile essential oil can be used topically as an anti-inflammatory or diffused for its calming effect. Its sweet, apple-like aroma has a long history of traditional uses in both culinary and medicinal applications. Promotes a peaceful sense of calm and wellbeing when inhaled directly, rubbed on tired, achy muscles or added to a warm bath for instant relaxation.
