Description
Lime essential oil is cold pressed from the peel of the citrus fruit, lime essential oil presents a medium-strength top fragrance note with a sweet and tart lime citrus aroma. Known historically as a remedy for various ailments like scurvy or tetanus, its primary use as an essential oil is to stimulate lymphatic circulation, tone and tighten the skin and relieve the discomfort and itch of insect bites. Diffuse through your home for a fresh and inviting scent, to relieve tension, promote a healthy appetite and restful sleep. ***Lime Essential Oil has phototoxic properties and exposure to the sun must be avoided for 12-24 hours after topical application to the skin.
Suggested Uses of Lime Essential Oil

Directions
- Diffuse 2-3 drops per 100ml of water to clear the mind and re-energize
- Add 2 drops to facial cleanser to help control oily skin
- Combine 1/2 cup of Coconut Oil, 1 cup sugar and 20 drops of Lime to make a luxurious, exfoliating coconut lime scrub
- Add 4-6 drops to a tablespoon of honey and add to a lukewarm bath to control fever
- Make a cleaning solution with equal parts water and distilled white vinegar. Add 15-20 drops of Lime and use on hard surfaces
