Description
Cold pressed from the beans of the plant, jojoba carrier oil is a medium weight oil with a rich golden color. When used topically, it leaves a satiny sheen on the surface of the skin and has a slightly waxy texture – in fact it is technically not an oil, but a wax derived from the jojoba bean. Excellent for skin or hair preparations, and especially good for mature or aging skin due to its ability to form a moisture barrier on the skin’s surface. Naturally rich with vitamin E, jojoba protects and nourishes, and outdoorsy-types should take note – it is an especially excellent ingredient in protective lip balms or for preparations meant to heal dry, chapped, sun or wind damaged skin. Jojoba Golden is long lasting and stable with an indeterminate shelf life.

Directions
Essential oils are often too strong to apply undiluted to the skin and evaporate rapidly. This is where a good carrier oil comes into play. They do not evaporate or have a very overpowering aroma and so blend well with essential oils making them less volatile. This combination is perfect for all forms of body massage.
- After bath or shower, apply to damp skin for a rich moisturizer
- As a part of skin care regime, rub a few drops between your palms and apply to your face after cleansing
- For dry and frizzy hair apply Jojoba oil to damp hair after washing
- Apply a drop to your lips for protection against the harsh environmental elements
- Soak your nails in warm water for 5 - 10 minutes then apply 1-2 drops of Jojoba oil to your cuticles for the best absorption
- For cracked heels soak then in warm water for 5-10 minutes, towel dry and then massage Jojoba oil to the hardened areas

Avoid using during pregnancy, or if you suspect you might be pregnant, except on the advice of a qualified practitioner. Store all essential oil products safely out of reach of children. Essential oils are potent, and a little bit goes a long way. Do not use essential oils undiluted directly on the skin as they can cause irritation. Keep away from children, and do not apply near the eyes, mucous membranes, sensitive or broken skin. Every individual reacts differently to essential oils: Always perform a ‘test patch’ properly diluted in carrier oil to determine sensitivity.
