Description
Cold pressed from the peel of the fruit, the oil is a medium yellow liquid with a medium-strength top fragrance note that exudes an upliftingly fresh, citrusy, tangy and slightly bitter aroma. Excellent for lightening the mood and relieving stress, it has proven helpful in some individuals when attempting to quit a bad habit such as smoking or to regulate the appetite. Dilute in carrier oil for topical use to improve circulation or to ease muscle fatigue after strenuous exercise. Encourages feelings of happiness and relieves fatigue when diffused or used as a component in a fresh and invigorating room spray. ***Grapefruit Essential Oil has phototoxic properties and exposure to the sun must be avoided for 12-24 hours after topical application to the skin.

Directions
- Diffuse 2-3 drops per 100ml of water for an uplifting environment and to relieve mental fatigue
- Add 1-2 drops to facial moisturizer to balance oily, acne prone skin
- Add several drops to a spray bottle full of distilled water. Spray around the home as a natural deodorizer and disinfectant
- Make a disinfecting spray by combining equal parts water and distilled white vinegar, add 10-15 drops of Grapefruit and shake. Spray on hard surfaces to kill germs
